Hi, I'm Nancy Delgadillo. Welcome to my profile!
Nancy Delgadillo is a business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration in all of her pursuits.
As a child, Nancy was a multi-tasker with a passion for fashion and sports that still endures. When she was just 8 years old growing up in Tijuana, Mexico, Nancy told her mother she wanted to become a war veteran. That dream became a reality in 2003 when the newly enlisted Army soldier was deployed to Iraq following the 911 attacks. After four years Nancy became honorably discharged in 2006.
At the heart of Nancy's community spirit is her passion for homelessness: "I believe together we can overcome this struggle," she says. "We all deserve a second chance at life and success." Nancy attended the University of Maryland Europe in Germany.
Today Nancy is a conscience-laden business leader who enthusiastically embraces the worlds of education and philanthropy. As Executive Director of I Care Atlanta, Inc. she is an affiliate of various homeless shelters in Atlanta where she implements her very own mentor program, the only program targeted to helping men, women and children transition out of homelessness.
An advocate for women in leadership, Nancy also serves as President of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Atlanta Chapter, whose mission is to provide the most advanced forum for members to connect with like-minded professional women to develop innovative business and social relationships through monthly chapter meetings.
An avid reader and a food and wine aficionado, Nancy resides in Atlanta, GA.
